Arizona CR-42 Roofing (Residential/Commercial) Contractor – Online Exam Prep Course
This online exam‐preparation course targets the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) trade examination for the CR-42 Roofing license (Residential/Commercial) in Arizona. The classification allows contractors to perform roofing work including weatherproofing with asphaltum, tar, felt, glass fabric or flax; installation of shingles, shakes, slate, metal roofing systems, urethane foam, roof insulation or coatings on or above the roof deck; and replacement of up to three plywood sheets (96 sq ft) or the installation of new/replacement skylights when no structural framing changes are involved.The exam consists of 50 questions, 120 minutes to complete, and requires a 70 % passing score. The prep course supports candidates by covering domains such as estimating and plan reading, surface preparation and planning, steep and low slope roofing (including built‐up roofing and waterproofing), roofing components, safety, and repairs & reroofing.
