BROWARD COUNTY - 4 HOUR ONLINE CONTINUING EDUCATION

The Broward County Chapter 9 Continuing Education Course 4-Course Package, offered through 1 Exam Prep, fulfills the required 4-hour continuing education mandated by the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals (BORA) for licensed contractors. This online package includes courses covering workplace safety, business practices, Florida laws and rules, and advanced building code topics. It is designed to maintain compliance with county renewal requirements for certified and registered contractors under the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Accessible entirely online, the program allows license holders in trades such as general contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing to complete their continuing education obligations conveniently while staying updated on code and regulatory changes relevant to Broward County’s construction licensing framework.


All Broward County Construction Specialty Contractors must complete 4-hours of approved Continuing Education every 2 years based on their required license renewal date. The Board rules state that this CE must be completed before you will be allowed to renew your license.
