GITS Terrazzo Category - Class "T" - SLE1B (County - Florida)

The GITS Terrazzo Category – Class "T" – SLE1B license examination, administered under the authority of the Broward County Central Examining Board, is designed to certify terrazzo contractors for county-level work in Florida. Through 1 Exam Prep, candidates receive access to the approved reference materials, including the Florida Building Code and the GITS County Contractor Trade Knowledge outlines, which align with the county’s construction and licensing standards. This exam scope covers terrazzo installation methods, surface preparation, materials specifications, and safety procedures in compliance with local building regulations. The 1 Exam Prep course is structured to support applicants in preparing for the GITS licensing requirements, ensuring adherence to county contractor competency standards for terrazzo work in Florida.

This license will no longer be issued after June 30, 2024 per Florida House Bill HB735 and HB1383.
