The GITS Concrete Placing and Finishing Contractor - Class "CP" - BCE1B license, authorized by the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) for Florida counties, certifies contractors to perform concrete work involving placement, finishing, and curing of structural slabs, driveways, and related flatwork. This county-level credential, supported by 1 Exam Prep, prepares candidates for the GITS trade examination, which evaluates knowledge of concrete materials, forming, reinforcement, placement methods, finishing techniques, and applicable Florida Building Code standards. The prep materials include reference books and practice tests aligned with local licensing requirements, enabling applicants to meet regulatory standards for county contractor certification in Florida’s construction licensing system.

This license will no longer be issued after June 30, 2024 per Florida House Bill HB735 and HB1383.
