The Florida Electrical Contractors Certification examination is administered in two parts: a Business examination and a Technical and Safety examination. Both parts are offered through computer-based testing.

State Requirements

Applicants for the Florida Certified Electrical Contractor examination must be at least 18 years old. The state examination is offered in two parts, and both parts must be passed before an applicant can complete the initial licensure process.
