International Building Code 2012
The 2012 International Building Code (IBC 2012), developed by the International Code Council (ICC), is a model building code that establishes minimum regulations for the design, construction, alteration, enlargement, repair, location, relocation, and maintenance of buildings and structures to safeguard public health, safety and general welfare. It is fully compatible with the broader I-Codes suite and is intended for adoption by reference in jurisdictions as enforceable law.
The International Building Code 2012 Paperback is a model code that provides minimum requirements to safeguard the public health, safety and general welfare of the occupants of new and existing buildings and structures.
It applies to all occupancies, including one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses that are not within the scope of the IRC.
