The GITS Concrete/Masonry Contractor (County - Florida) course, provided by 1 Exam Prep, prepares candidates for the county-level licensing examination administered by GITS (Gainesville Independent Testing Service) in compliance with Florida local contractor board requirements. This license authorizes contractors to form, place, finish, and repair structural concrete and masonry components, including foundations, driveways, block walls, and other load-bearing structures. The course and accompanying reference materials align with the official GITS exam content outline, covering critical topics such as concrete mix design, masonry codes, reinforcement placement, curing methods, estimating, and safety regulations under OSHA standards. This license will no longer be issued after June 30, 2024 per Florida House Bill HB735 and HB1383. (Contractor may be qualified for Class "A", "B", or "C" General Contractor)
