PROV Finish Carpentry (County – Florida)

The “PROV Finish Carpentry (County – Florida)” exam-preparation program is designed for contractors seeking licensure in Florida counties under the PROV testing system, covering specialty finish carpentry work such as trim, stairs, doors, siding, non-structural framing and related wood-work. According to the course description, it includes online modules, test-taking techniques, list of required reference books (such as the Florida Building Code 2017 and a Study Guide for Finish Carpentry), practice exams by book, final exams, access to an instructor and 1-year access to the online course. This course aligns with the exam scope for Florida County finish-carpentry specialty contractors under the PROV system.

This license will no longer be issued after June 30, 2024 per Florida House Bill HB735 and HB1383.
