Chapter 61G15 of the Florida Administrative Code governs the rules adopted by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE) under Chapter 471, Florida Statutes for the practice of professional engineering in Florida. It covers the board’s organization and purpose; grounds for disciplinary proceedings; applications for licensure (including education and experience requirements); examinations; renewal and continuing education; use of seals (including digital signatures); fees; supervision standards; the adoption of another’s work; responsibility rules for engineers (including structural, electrical, mechanical, fire-protection, and threshold inspection systems); product evaluation; and oversight of the Florida Engineers Management Corporation.
