61G6, F.A.C., Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board

Chapter 61G6 of the Florida Administrative Code governs the rules of the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board (under the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation) and covers certification and registration of electrical and alarm contractors, board organization and procedures, examinations, continuing education, specialty contractor classifications (such as residential, lighting-maintenance, utility-line), fees, disciplinary guidelines and citation authority.
