The GITS Flatwork Concrete Specialty Contractor – Class “FWC” – BME1B license, regulated by Florida’s Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) under county-level authority, qualifies individuals to perform and supervise concrete placement, finishing, and flatwork construction. This 1 Exam Prep course provides candidates with comprehensive preparation materials covering code compliance, concrete finishing techniques, slab reinforcement, and curing methods necessary for the GITS county trade examination. The study set aligns with GITS (Governmental Inspection, Testing, and Services) requirements and includes up-to-date reference books approved for county contractor testing in Florida. It is designed for contractors pursuing licensure for projects such as sidewalks, slabs, driveways, and other non-structural flatwork under local jurisdictional standards.

This license will no longer be issued after June 30, 2024 per Florida House Bill HB735 and HB1383.
