It also includes installation or replacement of subflooring, leveling products, and related materials necessary to facilitate flooring installation.

The specialty does not include floor joists or other structural components of the flooring system.

Every Virginia contractor business must have a Qualified Individual for each classification or specialty listed on its application. Virginia currently requires minimum qualifying experience based on license class: one year for Class C, three years for Class B, and five years for Class A.
