Exam Details

The Oklahoma HVACR Journeyman Unlimited examination tests knowledge of the installation, maintenance, repair, fabrication, alteration, and extension of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilating systems. The examination covers ductwork within complete HVAC/R systems without horsepower or tonnage limits, along with associated piping, vessels, ducts, insulation, and equipment while working under the appropriate contractor structure.

The current Journeyman Unlimited examination contains 70 scored questions and allows 180 minutes. A passing score of 70% is required, equal to 49 correct answers.

The Journeyman Unlimited examination includes 15 Electrical Knowledge and Controls questions, 10 Natural Gas questions, 16 Air Distribution Systems questions, 16 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems questions, 10 Heating Systems questions, and three Safety questions.
